The success standards of the tooling industry as a whole have raised due to technological improvements and accelerated efficiency levels to maximize accuracy and productivity. Omega Tool has capitalized on this pattern, from the utilization of highly sophisticated equipment to its notably distinct technological advancements, which resulted in precise machinery and continual equipment updating.
By combining the latest in technology with a logical and purpose-oriented shop, computerized control assures product specifications and production techniques for every Omega-built product. Computers are used in virtually all aspects of the mold making operation: for generating CAM programs, mold and product design, drafting, solid modeling, flow and finite element analyses, cutter path verification and digitizing.
From the company's founding, the vast majority of tools and molds produced by Omega Tool have been destined principally for the automotive industry both for the big three domestic North American automobile producers and for offshore manufacturers with a significant portion dedicated to consumer and construction housing products. Omega Tool Corp. offers total customer involvement and technical assistance to ensure consistent, cost-efficient molding throughout the life of every tool manufactured. mold performance is evaluated by simulating actual production conditions in Omega Tool's mold forming and spotting presses, ensuring the delivery of molds that enable customers to produce superior products. Furthermore, all molds and tools undergo final testing at the client's factory in actual production settings.
To provide a continual supply of skilled employees, Omega Tool has initiated a number of innovative training avenues. Firstly, personnel are continuously being trained directly in-house with specific hands-on training. Secondly, the company hires graduates from the area community college to train them as apprentices.
